General Secretary of the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT), says students in KG and Elementary will close at 12 noon as children return to school.
Speaking on JoyNews’ AM show Monday, Mr. Thomas Musa said the authorities staying in school from 8 am to 3 pm are not being considered by the authorities.
He was emphatic they will rather keep students in school for a maximum of four hours.
“We do not expect students in kindergarten and the elementary to stay up in school after 12 noon as Covid-19 is at stake,” he stated.
This measure forms one of the key developed guidelines for students by the government to create a conducive environment for teaching and learning as students return to school, he added.
