From a very reliable source, the Ghana Education Service (GES) and the National Council for Curriculum Assessment (NaCCA) has come out with a proposed new date for the organization of CCP workshop for Junior High School (JHS) teachers at the various district, metro, and municipal levels across the country.
This new date was slated after indefinitely suspending an already scheduled 11-day workshop meant to champion the said course.
According to our sources, the GES new Curriculum workshop also known as the Common Core Programme (CCP) is slated to take place from Monday, 11th of January to Friday, 15th of January 2021 across all districts, municipals, and metros. Therefore, 5-days will be used for the whole workshop and not 8-days per the first letter.
Meanwhile, the total number of participants per District and T&T will be communicated later in due course. However, the feeding still stands at 20gh per participant per day.
Nonetheless, teachers are to note that it is a non-residential based workshop and will have to prepare adequately in terms of accommodation especially teachers who will be traveling from distant places.
