NEW CURRICULUM WORKSHOP FOR JHS &SHS 1 TEACHERS (COMMON CORE CURRICULUM WORKSHOP)
All Junior High School (JHS) and Senior High School 1 (SHS1) teachers are expected to attend a five( 5) day non residential training workshop on the above subject. It is scheduled to take place from the 11th if January to the 15th of January,2021, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm each day.
However, headteachers of the various schools are to assign teachers to each of the following learning areas
Maths, English, Science, Ghanaian Language, Social Studies, Computing, Physical Education,RME, Creative arts and Career technology (Basic Design and Technology)
Nonetheless, schools which offer French and Arabic are entreated to bring their teachers along.
It is very important for the various headteachers to note that, NABCO and National service personnel are auxiliary staff and therefore are excluded from this workshop.
